Oh never soulless!!! For me he looks like a very smart young doctor. I can't imagine he's a lawyer with this white frock under the suit. But the icon is really funny!!!
The icon is small; you can't tell it's not just a high-collared white shirt. (Or at least, I can't.) But, if you prefer that shot to be doctor!Hutch, I recommend you check out smudley's user pics: I think she has one from this scene that goes with her "Affirmation" (aka doctor!Hutch) universe. :-)
I don't know. It's just something about the way he looks. Too rich and powerful for my taste, like he's all perfectly put together. I can almost hear the disdain in his voice. *shrugs* You know I have an overactive imagination. Where the hell do you think all my fic comes from?! (Though, to be fair, IIRC, KAM actually has a similar icon--though I swear I never saw hers before I made mine--with that same shot as "Dr. Hutchinson" and SHE actually has a whole written universe to go with it! *g*)
