Yes - you're right Nancy!!! I love his face expressions too - especially this one! I also really love this episode and I can't understand why this one was never shown in the german tv. I first saw it on DVD. ...???...

I do love this episode. The guys are so intense...especially Starsky. IMO, this is PMG's best directing on the series. He made every character count and gave them a history. The ending was so tragic in many ways.

Was it just me or did anyone else think the tag was out of place?

I agree with you! As for the tag, I think it was a way to lighten things up after an intense show, give a little more info into why the relationship with the girl and H doesn`t work, and give Hutch a chance to lick pie off of Starskys face.
