The Last of Life, by Dana Austin Marsh

What a beautiful, touching, story of the guys in the waning years!
This paragragh made me all teary eyed.
"It`s All right, babe. We`ll come out again tomorrow." Dave reassured him gently, leaning over the other man and calming him with gentle pats.
"How many tomorrows, Starsk?" Ken mumbled."As many as we get, babe,"Dave replied softly.

I like to think of them going out together (of course, this would be why I also tortured Hutch in my DeadStarsky story and made him go crazy...just to be contrary;)

It's from...Dangerous Lives 3 (I think it's 3) and I'd have to recheck the name because everyone (including myself) always refers to it as the DeadStarsky story ;) It's the one where Starsky keeps haunting him. I really loved writing it and exploring that reality, but it was really dark and not what I want for my older boys.

It implies that they had been together, but it takes place in an nursing home and Hutch lives there and Starsky comes to visit him everyday.

*sighs* I love that story. Because it's beautiful and older!guys and sad, but I honestly believe it'll have a happy post-ending. *may have become even more of a romantic since getting into S&H*
