(this comment is no reflection on your comment enednoviel) --- but you know I think DS was one of the few actors/singers out there who didn't give a darn about how he/she "looked" when he was engaged in his art -- he just went with his gut and when it felt good and right to give it his all - he did....and looks be damned - I think he's still that way today - he just loves what he does and does it.....regardless of what the "public" expects of him. If it weren't for that we would never have gotten such classic S&H stuff as "The Fix" -- that's an eppy that I will NEVER ever be able to forget or blow off as just campy Tv stuff from the 70's.....it was a small example of his brilliance....
how nice to be that way - I love actors who are that way - they always give 110% in all they do and those are the actors and singers you always remember......
I just want to say I love this comment... I think that's why I find DS so attractive... and the reason, as you said, why his portrayal of Hutch in general and in classic epis like The Fix are just so hard to forget! The character takes precedence, as it were, over any vanity he might have... which is obviously very little.
Totally agree with you here. That's basically what I had in mind, when I posted the comment. If I remember it correctly, this was the cover of an LP or EP, so he probably chose that pic himself and that says a lot, doesn't it?
