“You love him too, don't you?”

I nervous today because we are taking young son to meet the Principal of this little school that we are trying to get him into. He`s been home schooled since the 2nd grade due a eye problem that made it hard for him to read. He has come so far, but I just don`t know how he`s going to do taking the test to see what grade he should be in. He`s been doing 7th grade work with me, but his reading isn`t quite at that level yet. Wish me luck and young son. His self esteems low when it comes to his schooling and I`m afraid that if he doesn`t do well on this test it will really make him feel bad about himself. Well have a good day!

He didn`t pass his test! He was so low that they said they wouldn`t take him! He`s been doing 7th grade work with me, but his reading skills are 5th and so everytime he takes a test he tests low! Oh woe is me! I`m just not smart enough to teach him the middle school math! There is a place here that helps kids like Steve, but it costs $200 just to test him and $45 dollars an hour per subject that he needs help in, 3 times a week. Do the math, that is a lot of money for someone who mows yards and whose husband is a fireman and they make less then most people! Well it will all work out and I told young son that he is smart and that all we need to do is work harder and he`d get there eventually! Its so hard to be a parent sometimes!!!!!!
